Family Literacy

The Family Literacy Program addresses the need for GED and ESL classes for adults while simultaneously providing a play and learn group for their children.  Components of the program include adult education classes (GED & ESL), play and learn literacy based playgroup for children, weekly parenting education programs, and weekly parent and child together activities.

"Since the program I have new idea's for my kids to stay out of trouble, family nights are new and improved (everyone loves the idea's) and talking is more open now.  It made me feel better about myself as a parent and as a woman who been through a lot."

"Before this program I was just a mom, but now I feel like I'm so much better with them, plus I feel better about myself."

"I think this program is very important because a lot of young women like us need this opportunity to better ourselves, not just for us but for our kids."

"You have taught me about friendship, family values, how to talk to my kids and play with them."
